The 2016 debut of Pacific City, Southern California’s newest oceanfront newest shopping, dining, and lifestyle center — situated right on Pacific Coast Highway — has transformed the Huntington Beach visitor experience with 191,000 square feet of hip & popular shops and eateries. Besides offering unique shopping opportunities, Pacific City contains numerous inviting spaces to hang out and soak up the Surf City vibe.

Consisting of four premier oceanfront resorts (Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa, The Waterfront Beach Resort — a Hilton Hotel, Paséa Hotel and Spa, and Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel) the HB Collection works collaboratively to offer 1,400 guest rooms and 185,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space for citywide groups. The Paséa Hotel and Spa has been open since June of 2016, while the Waterfront Resort and the Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel will both complete renovations this year.

Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel’s $3-million makeover includes rejuvenated rooms, new décor and furnishings in common areas, and an updated fitness center, complete with a 40-foot-wide rock-climbing wall. In addition, Pacific Hideaway, Shorebreak’s Pacific Rim-inspired restaurant opened its doors in May.

This fall, the $140 million expansion of The Waterfront Beach Resort will add a second 152-room all-suites resort tower to the existing 285-room property, a laid-back rooftop bar called Offshore 9 as well as two new restaurants (Boardwalk and Driftwood Beach Club), a pool with water slides and a sandy faux beach with fire pits

Consider Relevé Unlimited as your local Huntington Beach destination management company. And, thanks to a close partnership with local tourism bureau Visit Huntington Beach, meeting groups can take advantage of several booking incentives available through December 2018.
