An L.A. Inspired Conference
This week, we are re-living a luxurious and L.A. inspired Conference we produced this January. Oh how we miss the days of encouraging the human connection through experiences and design! Our clients held their annual conference at the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village. During the week, guests had the pleasure of enjoying the World Café and Hospitality Suite that was designed to focus on health and wellness.
The first night, guests were welcomed to an upscale, coastal luxury beach theme reception and dinner in the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village’s Studio Stage. The Studio Stage space was once a TV Studio for a cooking show and is equipped with floor to ceiling projection screens and top-notch technology. The Welcome Reception and Dinner highlighted a blue and grey color palette with lots of sea glass, coral, and sea fan décor. The room was adored with palm trees, beachy wooden tables and chairs, and floor to ceiling projection of the ocean waves.
The second night’s dinner utilized the Four Seasons Westlake Village’s unique spaces for eight dine-arounds. The décor for each dinner was designed to enhance the aesthetic for each location: The Greenhouse, Wellness Kitchen and Dining Room, Avalon Dining Room, The Tasting Room, Hampton’s Dining Room, and Onyx a Japanese Kitchen.
The Closing Dinner Reception was held on the Waterfall Lawn and was a Taste of L.A themed soiree. The lawn was decorated with large props to represent the eclectic neighborhoods of L.A. from Hollywood to Chinatown including farmers market style food stations. After dinner, everyone moved into the Studio Stage for a Whiskey A -Go-Go Party with a whiskey sommelier, digital caricature artist, dessert food trucks and The Young Country Band took the stage.
Our Senior Program Manager, Sarah Meierhoefer, had a wonderful time planning and producing this design heavy conference. We feel grateful that we were able to deliver some fun-filled conferences and events before COVID hit earlier this year, and we look forward to the days of larger gatherings again in California!
